these are some of the rays i have sold. the M-16 ray was the most expensive, with all real M-16 parts on it, including the pistol grip, the forearms, the magazine, and the CAR stock. the stock isn't mounted yet, but J-Dog will mount it soon under my supervision. the clear one is a good speedball gun, the angled foregrip keeps the new owner's elbows in tight. personally, i prefer remote, but i included the drop forward in with the clear one. both sold for over $100.
but they're not stock. they're very not stock. on all my rays i have polished the internals, added a sear preload screw for shorter trigger pull, a forward and rear trigger limiter, air agitated hopper, teflon detent ball, and quick strip field pins. i also severely coned the stock bolts, improving accuracy and reducing ball breakage.
i put the double trigger on the "ice df slantray" which has a drop forward and forward slanting foregrip. very nice.
the M-16 ray is my own creation, unique as far as i know. the parts are real, and it took some dremeling of both the ray and the parts to get them to fit. but boy, it looks cool!
i have several barrels for my rays, including a spiral ported and polished stock barrel, a 12" eagle works custom barrel, and an 8" unported black barrel of unknown origin. i sold a 14" CMI straight rifled tru-flite barrel with the clear ray.
well, this is what i want the next stingray to look like:
and here is my (FINISHED) project ray. right now it has a full trigger job and has been fitted with a magazine (which i discovered is from a real thompson .45 smg! how cool is that?). i've got the full valve mods and air agitate on it already (update)the valve exploded when i gassed it up to test it prior to selling it. i'm trading a samurai for a new valve body, which i will drill/tap for the air agitate, then polish to finish it and it'll be back in good selling condition.(/update). (updater than that)it is now finished and sold. i bought a raptor... look!(/updater)
here is my custom-made barrel. it's very compact, and fairly accurate. a little ineffecient on gas, but very nice for tight spots and thick brush.
